Annual Conference Poster Guide

2024 Annual Conference Poster Session Guidelines & Information

A Poster Session is a graphic presentation of an author's research. Authors/Presenters illustrate their findings by displaying graphs, photos, diagrams, and a small amount of text on the poster boards. Participation from librarians, library staff, LIS students, and administrators from all types of academic libraries is encouraged.  We welcome proposals on any topic related to academic libraries.

Presenters will hold discussions with attendees who are circulating among the poster boards. Many presenters find it helpful to present a brief introduction to answer the obvious questions and all the remainder of the time for more in-depth discussions. Presenters are expected to be present for the entire session.

Presenters are encouraged (but not required) to submit an electronic version of their poster and/or supplemental handouts for posting on the Annual Conference archive page.
